Crisis planning · build it on a good day

My Safety Plan. Built Now, For Later.

A safety plan is a short list you write while you are okay, so a bad moment does not have to do the thinking. This guided version walks you through the six steps of the Stanley-Brown Safety Planning Intervention, one of the best-studied suicide prevention tools there is: your warning signs, what steadies you, and the people and professionals who can help. When you finish, print it or save it to your phone, and tell someone you have it.

If you are in danger right now, do not fill out a form. Call or text 988 (Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, free, 24/7), chat at 988lifeline.org, go to the nearest emergency room, or call 911.
